How does hotel guest care work?

Hotel guest care is a online consultation service for visitors staying at hotels in New Zealand. Instead of searching for a local clinic or waiting room, you connect directly with a New Zealand-registered GP from your hotel room.

Here's how it works

  • Start a chat: Tap the button on this page and answer a few quick health questions. It takes about 5 minutes.
  • Doctor review: A GP reviews your information and responds to you in the same chat, usually within a few hours.
  • Prescriptions and care: If you need medication, your prescription is sent to a local pharmacy near your hotel for pickup. If you need advice, a referral, or a plan, your doctor will walk you through it.

The $150 consultation fee covers everything: your GP consultation, any prescriptions written, repeats of your regular medications, and ongoing care team support for the duration of your stay.
